Protein-Protein interactions play pivotal rolls in numerous cellular functions. Although some interactions are long lasting and quite robust, others are more transient in nature. Current technologies, require the identity of at least one of the interacting proteins. Thus, there is a need to develop new methods that can identify any two interacting proteins without discrimination to the length or strength of their interaction. My research focuses on developing such a tool using antibody development, mass spectrometry as well as bioorthoganol chemistries.
