Auguste Dutcher

[

Genetics Graduate Program

Faculty Advisor: Audrey Gasch

Resume

Auguste Dutcher’s research focuses on identifying Ssd1-medicated processes via a comprehensive screen of genetic interactions. Ssd1, a pleiotropic RNA binding protein, has been found by the lab to enable wild yeast to tolerate extra chromsomes.

Namita Khajanchi

Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program

Faculty Advisor: Krishana Saha

Resume

Namita Khajanchi’s research is focused on controlling nuclease degradation to reduce off-target activity of CRISPR/Cas editors.

Jaime Cordova

Genetics Graduate Program

Faculty Advisor: Nicole Perna

Resume

Jaime Cordova’s research uses a large-scale multi-omic approach to advance the understanding of metabolic and regulatory networks involved with the response to oxygen availability beyond the current knowledge from E. coli K- 12. Additionally, this will allow us to further understand the evolution of the response to oxygen.

Luis Haddock-Soto

Cellular & Molecular Biology Graduate Program

Faculty Advisor: Thomas Friedrich

Resume

Luis Haddock-Soto’s research uses cellular and genomic approaches to analyze how pre-existing dengue virus specific antibody repertoires affect the development of responses to Zika virus.
