Sid Kiblawi’s research focus is on automatic methods for mining the scientific literature in ways that will have significant value in inferring and interpreting subnetworks involved in biological processes of interest. He plans to leverage and develop tools that are able to automatically extract valuable information from the scientific literature. Mining this literature can provide more complete sets of interactions, allowing for more accurate subnetworks to be inferred.
