Faculty Advisor: Megan McClean

Resume

Zachary Harmer’s research is focused on multiplexing dynamic light-inducible control of community structures. Zachary is taking an engineering approach to understand how genetic and metabolic interactions between microbes dictate the “phenotype” of microbial communities. To pursue this research, he is developing new tools for multiplexed control of gene regulatory programs.
